Dear Scholarship Committee,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have this scholarship. The funds will help me pay for my books. I never thought I would be able to earn a scholarship with my GPA being lower than 4.000. Being given this award shows me that I am capable of doing more things that I originally thought I was.
I appreciate that you thought of me when handing out the scholarship. I will make sure to use this opportunity to be successful in my future. My deepest thanks are to you.
