To receive scholarship:
Graduating senior from an SCC district high school; Minimum high school GPA of 2.75 ; Submit high school transcript; Submit two recommendation letters; Enroll full time in an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science, with an agriculture or conservation focus; Must be able to commit two years of service to SCC Ag Advocates; Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, dependable, knowledgeable, and sincere in representing SCC’s ANRP; Prospective students will be contacted for interviews.

To Keep Scholarship:
Minimum of 10 volunteer service hours through SCC each fall and spring semester; Take at least one AGR class each fall and spring semester; Become a member of the program’s elite Ag Advocate group; Participate in recruitment, agriculture literacy in schools, campus and community functions; Attend one Ag Leadership Training Retreat; Serve as ANRP assistants to ANRP instructors; Must maintain full-time status (12 credit hours) each fall and spring semester (hours and grades checked each semester); 2.75 GPA in all AGR courses; 2.50 cumulative GPA; Must have met all of the above participation guidelines in the first year.

Award
Silver - Maximum: In-district tuition for 6 hours during summer,15 hours during fall, and 15 hours during spring(fees and books are not covered)
